Solitaire Society
Privacy Policy
Effective August 13, 2026
Solitaire Society is published by Autonomous Productions. The game is designed to work without an Autonomous Productions account, advertising, or cross-app tracking.
What stays on your devices
Ordinary game saves, preferences, history, local progression, and most customization data are stored on your device or in the app's shared iPhone/iPad container. Production iCloud gameplay synchronization is disabled in the current release.
If you choose a personal photo table, the app downscales and removes metadata from that image. The resulting file stays on your devices and may transfer only to your paired Apple Watch through Apple's WatchConnectivity service. It is not uploaded to our Daily Challenge service.
Daily Challenge data
Online competition requires a small amount of pseudonymous data. The Daily Challenge service may collect and retain:
- a pseudonymous Game Center team player identifier, app bundle identifier, and server player identifier;
- challenge, game, mode, deal, and deal-fingerprint identifiers;
- moves, active play time, Undo count, scoring mode, and completion time;
- platform, app version, and IANA time-zone identifier;
- a compact board-state replay used to verify legal play, plus its verification status, frame count, and cryptographic digest;
- leaderboard eligibility, deterministic tie-break data, finalization, and Society Credit award records.
The service generates a public pseudonym from the Game Center identifier. It does not receive your Apple ID, email address, contacts, personal photo, payment-card details, or Game Center nickname.
Service and diagnostic data
Vercel hosts the Daily Challenge API and an attached managed Postgres/Neon database stores the competition records described above. Vercel may process short-lived request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and request timing to deliver, secure, rate-limit, and diagnose the service. The application database does not persist client IP addresses or user-agent strings.
How data is used
- authenticate pseudonymous Daily Challenge submissions;
- verify solvable deals and legal winning replays;
- enforce local and Pacific submission deadlines;
- rank eligible results and prevent duplicate or altered entries;
- finalize winners, issue Society Credits, and preserve ownership;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve reliability.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use this data for advertising, third-party marketing, or tracking you across other companies' apps or websites. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDK.
Retention
Raw Daily Challenge submissions are retained for at least 24 months. Authentication audit metadata is retained for 90 days. Award and contest finalization records may be retained for product operation and ownership continuity unless deletion is legally required. At finalization, nonwinning replay frames are removed; a bounded verified winner replay may remain for the post-contest Winning Line coach.
Apple services and purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases, purchase restoration, Game Center authentication, and platform diagnostics under Apple's own terms and privacy practices. We do not receive your payment-card information. The current release does not send APNs winner-notification tokens to our service.
Your choices and requests
You can play ordinary games offline and decline Daily Challenge competition. You can replace or remove a personal photo table inside the app. To request access, export, correction, or deletion of Daily Challenge records, email autonomous@gmail.com. We will provide a safe Game Center verification step so a request can be matched to the correct pseudonymous account without asking for your Apple ID password.
Children
Solitaire Society is a general-audience game and is not designated as Made for Kids. Daily Challenge prize eligibility requires players to be at least 13 and to satisfy local law and the official rules.
